Job Summary:

The Front Desk Associate is the face of the Linden Row Inn, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This role requires a high level of interpersonal communication skills, friendly professionalism, and a strong attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Welcome guests upon arrival, check-in and register guests, and serve as the primary point of contact between guests and the hotel.
  • Phone and Email Management: Answer phones, take reservations, and direct calls as needed.
  • Cash Control and Accounting: Manage cash transactions, balance the cash drawer, and perform other accounting duties as assigned.
  • Room Assignments and Key Management: Assign rooms, prepare keys, and print registration cards as needed.
  • Guest Requests and Concerns: Accommodate guest requests, respond to guest concerns in a timely and professional manner, and provide local information and recommendations.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Communicate with housekeeping staff on the status of guest rooms and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Upselling and Promotions: Upsell guest rooms and promote hotel services to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:
