Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Alamo Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and directing sales efforts to maximize revenue and services within your assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales volumes and meet sales quotas within your territory
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and municipal/state/federal accounts
  • Conduct sales calls, demonstrations, and training sessions to promote Alamo Group products
  • Collect accounts receivables and resolve disputes in a timely manner
  • Provide credit and financial information to dealers and maintain accurate records
  • Attend product demonstrations, trade shows, and sales meetings as required
Requirements
  • 4-year college education preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of sales experience in governmental, state, and local municipality sales
  • Knowledge of bid processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
Working Conditions

This role requires 75% US travel and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. The employee must be able to sit, talk, and hear for extended periods and occasionally stand, walk, and use hands to handle objects.
