This team is dedicated to overseeing all facets of external financial disclosures, investigating and documenting the application of emerging accounting standards, coordinating annual audits and quarterly assessments, and conducting inquiries into intricate accounting transactions while documenting findings.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting packages.
  • Manage the financial statement audit process and liaise with external audit teams.
  • Identify, investigate, and document the Company's technical accounting transactions; collaborate proactively with external auditors to ensure timely resolution of technical accounting issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on US GAAP and GAAP reporting standards.
  • Conduct technical accounting research on complex transactions and new accounting pronouncements.
  • Develop and document accounting policy positions, procedures, and control environments, communicating these to the broader Finance and Accounting teams.
  • Assess business transactions for appropriate U.S. GAAP accounting treatment, including recommendations for accounting and disclosure, and prepare technical memoranda for significant or non-routine transactions.
  • Assist with financial due diligence and the integration of M&A transactions as required.
  • Review accounting entries and reconciliations for stock-based compensation, goodwill, investments, and other non-routine transactions.
  • Support month-end closing processes and financial statement reviews.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects, analyses, and reporting as requested by management.
  • Required Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to foster collaboration across functions.
  • 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 4+ years in public accounting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with strong technical writing skills and experience in implementing and managing complex U.S. GAAP accounting issues, demonstrating the ability to research and clearly articulate and document intricate technical accounting matters.
  • Capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with extensive experience managing multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
  • High integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations clearly and concisely.
