Kitchen Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily kitchen functions, including inventory management and cost control
  • Ensure timely kitchen operations that meet our quality benchmarks
  • Implement and uphold kitchen standards and protocols
  • Coordinate ingredient ordering and ensure proper storage with team assistance

Team Leadership:

  • Manage personal and team schedules effectively
  • Organize and prioritize tasks for self and team members
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Foster a positive and professional environment for coworkers and customers
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Ensure production meets established standards

Financial Oversight:

  • Familiarity with invoicing software for ingredient pricing
  • Manage scheduling software for staff
  • Oversee wholesale invoicing and updates
  • Assist in menu development and costing
  • Manage cost of goods sold (COGs)
  • Participate in inventory management and reporting
  • Attend regular management meetings

Personal Management:

  • Adjust production schedules as new orders are received
  • Organize and oversee cupcake production
  • Ensure timely completion of orders
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all production aspects
  • Be available to cover shifts as needed
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities
  • Supervise pastry staff in the absence of the Pastry Chef
  • Maintain effective communication with the Pastry Chef and team
  • Assist with special events as required
