Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Enjet Aero, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed machine setups, CNC programming, machine process improvement and troubleshooting, and producing machined parts.

This is a weekend night shift position, working 36 hours and receiving a 4-hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, also includes a 35% shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operate lathes with live milling capabilities.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools to inspect and verify close tolerance requirements.
  • Document SPC and inspection results accurately.
  • Modify tooling and fixtures as needed to ensure efficient production.
  • Advise the supervisor and programming team of technical advancements to increase productivity.
  • Operate machines to produce production runs of parts.
  • Maintain quality standards by understanding the Quality Management System.
  • Monitor and document operational and performance issues, providing feedback to the supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff members.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in CNC machine operation.
  • CNC Swiss lathe setup experience is an asset.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.
  • Experience with changing tools, performing offsets, and quality checks on parts.
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle complex tasks.
  • Capacity to work in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
