The Human Resources Coordinator collaborates closely with the Chief Administrative Officer and the Manager of Support Services to execute administrative functions that enhance the efficiency of the Administrative Department. This role encompasses a variety of support tasks, including the organization of meetings, facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintaining various databases pertinent to the firm. The HR Coordinator serves as a vital link among managers, employees, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and swift resolution of inquiries and requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chief Administrative Officer in managing the onboarding process for new hires, which includes drafting offer letters, conducting background checks, and preparing onboarding documentation.
  • Oversee the enrollment process for medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability benefits, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurately processed.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and manage payment requests for all insurance statements.
  • Document various leaves of absence within the appropriate tracking systems.
  • Support the termination process for employees, including processing benefit terminations and providing necessary unemployment information.
  • Draft documentation related to Unemployment, Family Medical Leave Act, Disability, and Paid Family Leave.
  • Assist in recruitment initiatives.
  • Address internal HR inquiries from employees.
  • Manage the calendar of the Chief Administrative Officer, scheduling appointments and reserving meeting spaces as required.
  • Support compliance-related tasks, including labor law postings, training sessions, and applications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as Zoom.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical and research-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with maturity.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and a willingness to assist wherever necessary.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining an effective work schedule.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Compensation: $20 - $26 per hour
