Position Summary
As a Radiology Nurse, you will provide exceptional nursing care and support for adult and elderly patients experiencing a variety of health conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and documenting findings.
  • Administering medications and monitoring patient responses.
  • Providing direct and indirect patient care throughout procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with physicians regarding patient status and changes.
  • Managing patients in critical conditions, utilizing emergency equipment as needed.
  • Explaining procedures to patients and ensuring their understanding.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of two years of critical care experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab nursing.
  • An Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A current Registered Nurse license in Texas or a Compact Registered Nursing License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one month of hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within one month of hire.
