Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to join our team at Hire Military Talent. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete payroll cycle for multiple state payroll, as well as overseeing all aspects of year-end processing, including W-2s, 1099s, federal, state, and local tax filings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for multiple state locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage the year-end process, including W-2s, 1099s, and tax filings, to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Supervise a team of payroll processors, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective payroll operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with current payroll practices and regulations, and communicate changes to the company.
  • Identify and implement improvements to Workday and payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience in an organization with 2,000+ employees and multiple state locations.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience over a department with 1-5 direct reports.
