Position Overview
The Procurement Specialist will collaborate effectively with the Trachte estimating, engineering, and purchasing divisions. This role involves quoting and negotiating specialized products and services tailored to customer specifications and requirements.

This position is responsible for managing the quote process from the initial project estimate, through the engineering phase, and concluding with the purchase order.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate, monitor, and negotiate quotes with suppliers in alignment with customer requirements and the strategies outlined by the procurement team.
  • Ensure that quotes are received promptly, competitively priced, and precise.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of quotes for goods and services.
  • Stay informed about sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments within the organization to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Technical proficiency with a familiarity of electrical products such as panels, breakers, etc.
  • Must be able to work on-site.
