Job Summary

As a Banquet Server with Compass Group Careers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary focus will be on taking food and beverage orders, delivering items to dining room guests, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Takes food and beverage orders in a prompt and efficient manner, following established steps of service.
  • Delivers food and beverages to dining room guests in a timely and professional manner, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
  • Exhibits exceptional communication skills and demonstrates ability to get along well with others, remaining flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
  • Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
  • Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
  • Promptly addresses complaints or issues, relaying relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
Requirements
  • Prompt and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions.
