We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Wisconsin State Government. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and follow maintenance schedules and instructions to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, doors, and locks.
- Conduct grounds maintenance to ensure the appearance and safety of our facilities.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on all mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Install plumbing fixtures and perform other related tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
