Job Summary

The Doe Fund Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adult Education Instructor to join our team. As an Adult Education Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring adults in various educational and vocational programs. Your primary goal will be to empower individuals to achieve their educational and career goals, while also promoting personal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor adults in various educational and vocational programs, including computer skills, high school equivalency prep, and vocational training.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, as well as communicate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure student success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs and services that meet the needs of the community.
  • Provide career counseling and guidance to students, helping them to set and achieve their career goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching and mentoring adults in educational and vocational programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
