Job Title: Branch Manager Commercial Landscape

A dynamic and fast-growing commercial landscape company is seeking a results-driven Branch Manager to lead a high-performance team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed established goals and grow the business.
  • Improve and further develop existing customer relationships to serve their evolving needs.
  • Manage direct reports to optimize business development, labor, resources, and equipment usage.
  • Optimize purchasing, use, and maintenance of equipment, inventory, and materials.
  • Improve performance using key performance metrics, meaningful reports, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Develop strategies and best practices for successful contract procurement, including compliance with specifications and cost allocation.
  • Manage contract performance and customer satisfaction while ensuring operating profits.
  • Develop and manage strategic and tactical plans for each direct report, including projected profits and costs.
  • Analyze and stay ahead of the market, including unmet customer needs, pricing, and competitors.
  • Utilize and train for best practices, including creating safe and efficient work environments and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Leadership:
  • Manage, train, and mentor team members to motivate and maximize performance.
  • Share the company's passion for accountability, performance, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain a training/learning/mentoring curriculum to encourage greater performance and advancement within the organization.
Financial:
  • Oversee all financial aspects, including revenue, profitability, costs, budgets, labor, equipment, materials, and performance metrics.
  • Implement best practices for financial management and produce meaningful reports to improve and optimize processes and resource usage.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years of successful landscape maintenance and commercial experience as a Branch Manager or with a track record of successful results.
  • A four-year degree or equivalent experience in the green industry, including horticulture, landscape, agriculture, or a related field.
