Position: Environmental Field Technician

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Compensation: Starting at $17.00/hr and up

Position Summary:
SES is seeking a dedicated and safety-oriented Environmental Field Technician to become a part of our vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Prioritizing health and safety at all times.
  • Collaborating with company representatives to understand and adhere to all safety and operational guidelines.
  • Operating manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck machinery.
  • Assisting in the setup and dismantling of job sites.
  • Executing tasks as directed by supervisors or leadership personnel.

Qualifications:
Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • A strong commitment to safety and a solid work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed, including travel.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of equipment and company property.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment, random, and post-accident substance abuse screenings.
  • Use of respirators may be necessary based on specific project safety requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to follow emergency signals and instructions.
  • Capacity to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and crawling.
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and wet environments for extended periods.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces and tight areas.
  • Willingness to wear protective gear such as respirators, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and varied shifts.
