Key Responsibilities:
To thrive in this role, you should be committed to:
- Operational Excellence: Accurately verify prescriptions and formulas, ensuring compliance and process control for both sterile and non-sterile compounded medications.
- Leadership and Supervision: Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff, evaluating processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Training and Development: Engage in training and competency assessments for technicians and pharmacists, adhering to FDA, USP, and state board standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate inventory levels and batching schedules for compounded medications.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service when interacting with patients and healthcare providers, fostering effective communication across the organization.
Work Environment:
Ensure a clean and safe workspace by following established procedures and industry best practices. Prioritize daily tasks using electronic management systems to guarantee timely compounding and distribution of products.
Performance Metrics:
In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and reporting key performance indicators for pharmacy operations.
- Handling ongoing administrative and operational tasks.

Qualifications:
PharmD required. Experience in a 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy is preferred but not mandatory.
