Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Economist to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing economic impact analyses, socioeconomic evaluations, planning, and documentation to support our clients' growing needs.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare technical correspondence, reports, work plans, and project specifications
- Develop proposals and cost estimates resulting in the award of new work with clients
- Manage tasks and provide technical leadership to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule, and quality
- Work directly with clients, as necessary, to build and maintain client relationships
- Perform economic impact analyses using IMPLAN
- Build and strengthen team and staff through engagement and mentorship
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Economics, or Finance; Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in consulting
- Experience with IMPLAN
- National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) experience preferred
- Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and perform across multiple work assignments
- Excellent verbal communication and technical communication skills are mandatory
- Ability to work independently or on a team and cross-collaboratively with other teams
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills allowing for positive internal and client relationships

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
