The Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative to support our Pulmonology practice. This 20-hour per week position will involve scheduling appointments, check-in and check-out processes, and providing administrative support to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule all appointments and manage patient flow
  • Check-in patients, collect co-payments, and assist with pre-visit paperwork
  • Check-out patients, complete forms, and schedule follow-up appointments
  • Field incoming telephone calls and route them appropriately
  • Perform referral, diagnostic, and lab orders processing duties
  • Monitor waiting room activity and provide general support to practice leadership and clinicians
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years' experience in healthcare or customer service, preferably in a medical office setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Strong computer skills
