Serenity Lane is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Outpatient Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing healing and hope to patients, families, and communities affected by substance use disorder.
Responsibilities- Create a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals and families, facilitating the exploration of chemical dependency.
- Counsel individuals in one-on-one and group sessions, utilizing evidence-based chemical dependency treatment and ASAM standards.
- Maintain accurate records according to OAR, ASAM, CARF, and Serenity Lane's policies and procedures.
- Develop individualized service plans and collaborate with professional staff on treatment plans for patients, providing outside referrals as needed.
- Comply with all in-house and third-party reporting responsibilities and protocols.
- CADC R certification, with ability to obtain CADC I in 3 months; CADC II a plus.
- High School Diploma.
- 1-3 years of experience in the field of behavioral health.
