Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Baker to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our high-quality cakes are consistently produced to meet the needs of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow proprietary recipes and production methods to create high-quality cakes
  • Operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment
  • Prepare raw ingredients and equipment for baking, place cake pans into hot oven, and monitor the baking process
  • Package and label cakes according to company standards
  • Maintain baking and refrigeration logs
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Ensure a clean and sanitized work environment
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production demands and achieve productivity goals

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and production methods
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy weights (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Baker or in a related role
  • Knowledge of commercial-grade ovens and bakery equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
