Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Float Pool department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, collecting data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, collaborating with Registered Nurses and providers as needed.
  • Provide patient education, promoting holistic care and patient empowerment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document patient care and concerns in the patient record, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for, with preference given to experienced nurses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • ALS/ACLS and PALS certifications for Emergency Department nurses.
