Piedmont HealthCare LPN, Float Pool, Full-Time Days Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a float pool position. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments, collecting data on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
  • Evaluate patient developmental age and provide care accordingly.
  • Collaborate with RNs and providers to develop patient care plans.
  • Carry out care plans to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient care tailored to setting, needs, and plan.
  • Oversee ancillary and support team members.
  • Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for patient education.
  • Communicate concerns to Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, and/or physician as needed.
  • Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an LPN program.
  • New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for preferred.
