Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of all public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and meeting areas.
  • Support housekeeping staff with the cleaning and preparation of guest rooms as necessary.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Transport and replenish linens, towels, and supplies to designated locations.
  • Assist in the setup and dismantling of events and meetings, including arranging furniture and equipment.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Keep all storage areas and housekeeping carts organized and fully stocked.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless service experience.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the housekeeping manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Capability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with a positive demeanor.
