Job Summary

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or designated healthcare professional, this role provides direct patient care and technical support by performing delegated procedures of a specialized and technical nature. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, monitoring patient conditions, and assisting with diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
  • Monitor patient conditions and report any abnormalities to the RN
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as blood draws and specimen collection
  • Provide basic care and hygiene to patients, including bathing and dressing
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and patient areas
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months experience in a healthcare setting or completion of a Certified Nurse Assistant program
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
