Job Description

The Organizational Excellence Manager plays a critical role in supporting company-wide performance by identifying opportunities for improvement across the broader HR organization and working towards overall resolution and enhancement. This role leverages HR knowledge and project management skills to implement efficiencies and increase the effectiveness of company-wide human capital practices in partnership with HR colleagues and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR colleagues to proactively identify and frame continuous improvement opportunities to ensure human capital processes are simple, systematic, scalable, effective, and meet client needs.
  • Identify and eradicate waste in HR processes, driving fit-for-purpose standardization in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Leverage project management skills to build and lead processes that resolve identified continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams focused on driving continuous improvement in people processes, ensuring alignment with overall HR strategic objectives.
  • Own and optimize the Employee Lifecycle assessment process, currently managed through a survey platform, to be easy, scalable, and insightful for leadership positions.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of HR processes to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of HRIS data elements, reporting capabilities, and relevant KPIs for various stakeholder groups.
  • Track, analyze, and report human capital metrics to provide insight and action, developing and recommending data-driven solutions to address needs.
  • Ensure reported data is accurate, complete, timely, and consistent.
  • Support efforts to build a continuous-improvement and data-driven culture in HR.
  • Deliver relevant training sessions as new enhancements, tools, and/or capabilities are introduced by the OE group.
  • Surveys (addressed with Employee Lifecycle point above).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in HR-related roles with exposure to a broad base of human capital activity.
  • Previous experience in managing complex Employee Lifecycle and other HR-related projects required.
  • Experience in supporting both a knowledge and manufacturing workforce.
  • Depth of experience in data analysis or people analytics tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite (MS Excel, SmartSheets, Word, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Experience with Qualtrics or Dayforce a plus.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Effective communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills to interface within own team and business-facing leaders.
