Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Specialist

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at UPMC, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Constructively receive feedback and direction from supervisors and colleagues.
- Identify and communicate learning needs to the unit manager to ensure continuous professional growth and development.
- Request assistance in planning and prioritizing activities as needed to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in self-review as requested by the unit manager to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Apply, monitor, and remove resident restraints as per physician or facility protocol to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
