Job Description:

The Logistics Supply Chain Coordinator TX role at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. is a dynamic position that requires a proactive and customer-centric individual to join our team.

About the Role:

This position involves working in a high-volume/intensity call center environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring safe arrivals of shipments, conducting risk assessments to identify process improvements, providing data to support root cause analysis, and proactively communicating solutions for supply chain security issues or potential delays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service and Problem-Solving: You will tackle intriguing customer service issues and build highly scalable services, partnering with product teams to identify process improvement opportunities and propose the best service strategy through liaison with the Supply Chain Security (SCS) team.
  • Supply Chain Monitoring: You will track shipments from origin to destination, ensuring receipt, identifying opportunities to innovate and simplify shipping processes, conduct risk assessments, and loss measurements, and possessing real-time knowledge of operating status of different shippers/transportation vendors.
  • Delays and Deviations: You will predict and detect delays/deviations from the expected/preferred logistics plan, understand contextual information for developing/enabling shipping plan adjustments, and alert stakeholders when events happen that modify a shipment's plan and/or compromises the security (safety and secrecy) of devices.
  • Data Analysis: You will provide data to support root cause analysis to understand supply chain risk data and relevant service delivery opportunities, operate a risk monitoring dashboard to create a culture of continuous improvement within a customer business unit, and generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports/metrics as required.
  • Reporting and Communication: You will complete and maintain acceptable performance metrics including quality, productivity, and first contact resolution, foster a customer-centric environment which focuses on quality, productivity, and scalability of services, and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: You must have an Associate or Bachelor degree with multi-year experience within a high volume/intensity call center, security operations center, and/or crisis management/response center. Tactical understanding of geo-intelligence disciplines, risk analysis, Lean/Six Sigma principles, and/or GPS tracking is a plus as is shipping support knowledge/risk mitigation of confidential sensitive materials in a global multimodal environment.
  • Competencies: You must be able to effectively communicate ideas with influence across the organization, possess advanced report writing skills, demonstrate positive and professional demeanor, manage highly sensitive information, and exhibit willingness to volunteer and assist as needed.

Benefits and Working Conditions:

  • Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year based on location and experience.
  • Working Conditions: With or without reasonable accommodation, this role requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions, including regular computer usage, occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, and operating office equipment. Ability to work off-hours, weekends, or alternate hours is also required to support 24/7/365 global business needs.
