Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Westmont, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, highly technical nursing care to all cardiovascular patients.
  • Assist physicians during all cardiovascular procedures.
  • Maintain complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures.
  • Participate in in-services, continuing education, and workshops to remain abreast of new procedures and current technologies.
  • Accountable for the maintenance of quality control in all areas of the lab.
  • Provide a secure and safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Typically requires 2 years cardiac Cath lab experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PTCA, EPS preferred, with an AAS in RTR.
  • Minimum of 12 CEU hours per year.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate patient and unit needs.
  • Ability to teach procedures to the staff.
  • Current License in the state of IL as a RT.
  • ACLS. RCIS within two years of employment.
