Skyline Products is seeking a skilled Sales Representative to lead the complex sales process for small and medium companies in the Retail Petroleum market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical sales and be able to identify opportunities, create sales strategies, and deliver advanced value propositions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and prospects to identify sales opportunities and close business.
  • Present and communicate products and services to customers and prospects.
  • Conduct needs assessments and communicate value to sales prospects.
  • Understand and communicate the technical specifications and features of products and services.
  • Manage scope and customer expectations.
  • Engage with customers from project kick-off and maintain regular contact to provide a consistent presence.
  • Manage and document all issues and risks associated with customer contracts.
  • Prepare contracts and pricing proposals for products and services.
  • Demonstrate and provide training where necessary in new and existing accounts.
  • Process sales orders in a timely fashion and follow-up invoicing efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in technical sales within the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven willingness to commit additional time and effort when necessary.
  • Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other CRM tool.
Compensation:

The salary for this position starts at a minimum of $70-80k base, but can be more based on experience. This position is eligible for commission.
