About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Pacific West region. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing healthcare organization that is dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic X-ray images as directed by physicians.
  • Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views of specified body areas.
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Move x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
  • Examine radiologic images for properties such as density and contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion.
  • Process radiographic images and send them to PACS. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to strictest confidentiality standards.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
  • Current Oregon license in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current healthcare level CPR/BLS certification.
  • At least 1 year of mammography experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Epic and PACS experience.

The estimated salary for this role is $97,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
