Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in mammography. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic X-ray images as directed by physicians
  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures, including positioning patients and adjusting immobilization devices
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
  • Select length and intensity for radiation exposure based on individual patient needs
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school
  • Current Oregon license in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current healthcare level CPR/BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of mammography experience
