Rutgers University-New Brunswick seeks an Advanced Simulation Researcher to join the Laboratory for Biomolecular Simulation Research. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to cutting-edge technology development and perform advanced free energy simulations of nucleic acid systems.
About the Position">This is an exciting opportunity for a talented scientist to gain valuable experience in using advanced computational methods to tackle high-impact problems in enzyme design and drug discovery. The successful candidate will develop and apply innovative methods and workflows for free energy simulations that leverage new AI-enhanced quantum mechanical force fields to enhance predictive accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in physical chemistry and experience in nucleic acid simulations, including modeling of divalent metal ion-nucleic acid interactions and catalysis using combined quantum mechanical/molecular mechanical and free energy path methods. Familiarity with AMBER is strongly encouraged.
Salary and Benefits">The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience. Rutgers University offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
