Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Project Engineer to lead complex electrical and electro-mechanical projects from concept to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project schedules, ensuring adherence to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements, and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead Integrated Program Team and Control Account Management (CAM) duties, manage SE Level 5 Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and ensure EVMS compliance.
  • Technical Leadership: Direct technical, manufacturing, and administrative teams on assigned projects, oversee project and budget status, and manage schedules.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to meet productivity, quality, and customer goals.
  • Communication: Prepare proposals, business plans, budgets, and contract terms, and contribute to the integrated master schedule and project planning.
Requirements
  • Education: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project or other scheduling tools, hands-on experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) applications, and experience working with SAP and other Material Requirements Planning (MRP) applications.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong background in Cost Accounting and Earned Value Management, and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
