Diagnostic Imaging Operations Manager, University of Miami

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of radiology, ultrasound, and x-ray services at the University of Miami Hospital - Interventional Radiology Unit. This is a Full-Time position that requires a high level of expertise and leadership skills.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for planning, assigning, supervising, and reviewing the work of staff involved in diagnostic imaging studies. They will also supervise and perform these studies under the direction of a radiologist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate activities with departmental staff to ensure maximum efficiency and resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with University standards and best practices.
- Schedule and manage the workflow of staff to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on patient data, staffing, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching or training as needed.
To be considered for this role, you should possess a Certificate or Associate degree in a relevant field, along with 5 years of experience in diagnostic imaging operations. You should also hold Certification in a relevant specialty or field. Excellent business and management principles, leadership, and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
