Staff Nurse Oncology Opportunity at the University of Miami

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology team at the University of Miami. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves assessing patients, evaluating treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A valid Florida Registered Nurse License
  • ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
