Nurse Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the University of Miami in an Oncology Level II role. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
About the Role- Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology Level II
- Location: UHealth Tower, Miami, Florida
- Hours: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
- Employment Type: Staff
- Assess patients' conditions, evaluate plans, and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Review and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient condition.
- Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, maintaining accurate records related to medications and treatments.
- Communicate plan of care with patients, families, and team members, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Use available resources to assist in discharge planning.
- Plan, prioritize, and adjust assignments to accomplish goals and render superior patient care.
- Safely operate medical equipment and adapt to changing work demands.
- Serve as a preceptor and assist new staff in providing care.
- Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Certification and Licensing: Valid Florida Registered Nurse License, ACLS, BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 based on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, as well as opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.
