About the Role

The Fixed Prep Technician will play a crucial role in preparing patient cases for orthodontic appliances, ensuring that they meet the doctor's prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read prescriptions and identify the necessary steps to prep the model for appliance fabrication
  • Prep 3D printed models using hand tools, drills, saws, and X-ACTO knives
  • Carve out models with precision and attention to detail
  • Follow detailed directions and problem-solve as needed
  • Learn when to ask for assistance and when to make independent decisions
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using hands and fingers to manipulate materials for several hours at a time
  • Exhibit great hand-eye coordination and work well in a stationary position for several hours at a time
Requirements
  • Detail-oriented and great work ethic
  • Extraordinary time management skills and a positive attitude
  • Good understanding of shape and form, with the ability to work well with others
