Job Summary:
The Fixed Prep Technician will prepare all types of patient cases so that orthodontic appliances can be crafted according to doctor's prescriptions. This role is 100% hands on and requires a dedication to excellence and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
Read prescriptions and identify how to prep model for appliance to be crafted

Prep 3D printed models

Work with hand tools, drills, saws and X-ACTO knives to prep stone and 3D printed models for fabrication of orthodontic appliances

Carve out models

Follow detailed directions

Problem solve as needed

Learn when to ask for assistance and when to independently make decisions

Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Work in a stationary position for several hours at a time

Use hands and fingers to manipulate materials for several hours at a time

Exhibit great hand-eye coordination

Requirements:
Detail-oriented

Great work ethic

Extraordinary time management skills

Good understanding of shape and form

MUST have a positive attitude and work well with others
