Position Overview

At Regions Bank, the Client Relationship Associate plays a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience, both at the service counter and over the phone. This position is designed to enhance the financial well-being of our clients by fostering meaningful connections while managing transactions, identifying customer needs, and addressing service inquiries comprehensively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures a consistently high-quality customer experience at the service counter, addressing clients' transactional requirements, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Responds to client inquiries regarding various products and services, fulfilling basic service requests such as issuing new cards, updating information, resetting PINs, and resolving common issues.
  • Cultivates relationships with clients, maintaining a thorough understanding of their banking history and needs.
  • Educates clients on standard consumer products and digital banking solutions, including mobile and online services, designed to simplify their banking experience.
  • Assists colleagues and branch team members with essential tasks to facilitate customer issue resolution.
  • May conduct outbound calls to clients using generated leads to inform them about new technologies and assist in fulfilling their financial needs.
  • Refers clients to specialized internal teams when more complex financial objectives are identified.
  • Adheres to all banking protocols and regulations, ensuring sound banking practices and managing operational risks as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Contributes to achieving branch goals by identifying client needs and providing appropriate guidance regarding Regions' offerings.

This role requires tracking hours worked beyond 40 per week and is eligible for overtime compensation under applicable labor laws.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays as necessary.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and processing transactions.
  • Strong communication skills for in-person, phone, and electronic interactions.
  • Competence in using a computer frequently, including typing and maintaining focus on a monitor.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.

Preferred Experience

  • One (1) year of experience in banking, cash handling, or customer service.

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to comply with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in assisting clients with digital banking services.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Competence in overseeing significant amounts of cash.
  • Strong focus on customer service and relationship development.

Compensation for this position is competitive and varies based on individual experience, skills, knowledge, and performance. Pay ranges are provided as a market reference and may differ among associates in similar roles.
