Job Title: Residential Behavioral Health Technician/CRMA

The Role:

The Residential Behavioral Health Technician under the supervision of clinical leadership provides therapeutic interventions to residents/patients and assists with maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment.

The Opportunity:

The Work:
  • Assists with ensuring the safety of residents/patients, while helping to meet their emotional, physical, recreational, and mental health needs
  • Communicates in a therapeutic manner, uses de-escalation techniques, provides crisis intervention skills, and contributes to individual treatment plans
  • Encourages and observes residents/patients in performing activities of daily living
  • Observes and documents resident/patient behaviors and activities. Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to clinical staff
Requirements:
  • Active MHRT/C preferred
  • Active CRMA required
  • At least 1 year of Behavioral Health experience required. Three years of Behavioral Health experience preferred
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills
