Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation and coordination of Resident Care services, ensuring the highest level of care and support for our residents.
  • Oversee and monitor the medication management program, ensuring accurate and timely administration of medications.
  • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Independent Living skills as needed, promoting resident independence and dignity.
  • Coordinate appointments and services for residents, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Report any significant incidents or changes in resident needs to the Resident Care Director or Executive Director, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
  • Assist in the completion of resident assessments and service plans, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Participate in the training and orientation of new staff, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training sessions, and staff meetings, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse with a current license in good standing.
  • Certification or licensure per state guidelines.
  • Successful completion of all HallKeen/EOEA specified training programs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding of situations and carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Physical Demands
  • Physically able to move at least 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Physically able to bend, reach, and work in small areas.
  • Physically able to push and pull equipment and furnishings.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods of time.
