Job Title: Production Scheduler


About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled Production Scheduler to join our Ulbrich Production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and supply chain management, with experience in scheduling and planning equipment, personnel, and material inventory.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain material and operational flow in accordance with predetermined methods and standards.
  • Utilize scheduling software to ensure efficient and accurate scheduling of material.
  • Monitor key KPIs, such as on-time delivery and job priorities, and adjust schedules to maximize efficiency.
  • Track and update relevant functions in our ERP system to optimize scheduling and workflow.
  • Investigate delays and recommend corrective action to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate scheduling efforts with key stakeholders, including Sales, Metallurgy, Production, and Quality/Lab teams.
  • Evaluate material inventory levels, flow, equipment, and production capacity to determine optimum workflow.
  • Review and revise schedules as needed to accommodate changes in delivery schedules, production delays, and priorities.
  • Determine process lead time to meet delivery commitments.
  • Complete analysis on orders shipped late to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
  • Escalate production, material availability, and scheduling issues to Manager when necessary.

Requirements:



  • An Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in operations, supply chain management, or production planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and implement effective workflows, identify and resolve problems, and collaborate with multiple functional areas.
  • Regular attendance at work is required.
