Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Job Description

A non-profit, 501(c)(3) health care center is seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and children, and be licensed by the state of Texas and board certified.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver psychiatric evaluation, medication management, treatment planning, and emergency evaluations to child and adolescent patients.
  • Develop and maintain clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for psychiatric treatment.
  • Consult with staff, participate in treatment team meetings, and coordinate with other professionals.
  • Mentor and supervise mid-level NP's.
