Job Summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our pediatric mental health team, you will provide exceptional care to children and adolescents with complex psychiatric needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans for patients with a range of mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurology, neurosurgery, and psychology, to provide coordinated care.
  • Develop and implement subspecialty interests in caring for children and adolescents with comorbid neurologic conditions.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend coverage with our general psychiatry pool.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
  • American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification.
  • Unrestricted Texas Medical license.
  • Completion of an ACGME or AMA-approved residency in pediatrics.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
