About the Role:

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing expert care and support in a stimulating and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans for children and adolescents
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop strategies for improving patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required
  • Board certified/Board Eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date)
  • American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification
