Key Responsibilities
  • Perform non-invasive, routine technical support services under the supervision of a licensed physician or healthcare provider.
  • Provide clerical support, including data entry, obtaining patient signatures, and filing.
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Obtain necessary billing, insurance, and demographic information.
  • Perform venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing as ordered.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person.
  • Admit patients into the clinic and prepare charts with necessary forms.
  • Maintain department records, reports, and statistics.
  • Provide coverage and assistance as needed to maintain quality standards.
Requirements
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire.
