Key Responsibilities- Perform non-invasive, routine technical support services under the supervision of a licensed physician or healthcare provider.
- Provide clerical support, including data entry, obtaining patient signatures, and filing.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
- Obtain necessary billing, insurance, and demographic information.
- Perform venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing as ordered.
- Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Admit patients into the clinic and prepare charts with necessary forms.
- Maintain department records, reports, and statistics.
- Provide coverage and assistance as needed to maintain quality standards.
- High School Education/GED or equivalent.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or equivalent combination of licensure and experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP within six months of hire.
