Job Title: Insurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Specialist to join our team at Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia. As an Insurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate payment of patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor delinquent accounts and perform collection duties
  • Review reports, research, and resolve issues related to insurance payments and billing
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance providers, update information in systems, and document conversations
  • Answer patient payment, billing, and insurance questions and resolve complaints
  • Recommend accounts for collection or write-off
  • Maintain credit balances of patients and payors, ensuring timely refunds within government guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum two (2) years combined medical billing and payment experience required
  • Demonstrate knowledge of state, federal, and third-party claims processing required
  • Demonstrate knowledge of state and federal collections guidelines
