Position Overview:

Rebel Plant is in search of a proactive supervisor who prioritizes safety and integrity. This role involves overseeing daily plant operations to achieve production targets while monitoring operational data to reduce issues and downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily plant activities to ensure production efficiency and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Lead emergency response efforts and make critical safety decisions.
  • Guide team members in their roles, conducting performance evaluations and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date departmental manuals and documentation.
  • Design and implement training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and uphold operational procedures to guarantee a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and coordinate safety and environmental training sessions.
  • Report directly to the Plant Manager.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to be on-call to support team members as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Plant DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar natural gas engines, Ariel compressor packages, and Frick Propane compression.
  • Understanding of plant liquids and related treatment systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with flare reporting systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Work Environment:

The characteristics of the work environment may include exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. The role may involve working in confined spaces and lifting heavy objects exceeding 50 lbs.

Employees may work in industrial settings that involve hazardous materials and processes, requiring adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.

Availability for call-outs during off-hours, including nights and weekends, is expected. Reliable attendance is crucial, and occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
