Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented tax professional to join our tax practice as a Tax Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading tax compliance and planning efforts for our clients. Your expertise will be essential in reviewing and signing off on federal and state tax returns, managing client relationships, and developing tax planning strategies.

Responsibilities:

* Review and sign off on federal and state tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, non-profits, corporations, and partnerships
* Manage existing and build new client relationships
* Oversee tax planning strategies for clients and run tax projections
* Prepare internal memos, written tax guidance, and correspond with IRS and state tax authorities
* Support and collaborate with the advisory team on tax planning related functions
* Manage workflow, budgets, and billings
* Evaluate and develop processes and procedures to improve tax department efficiency

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with an extensive background in taxation
* CPA or JD required; Master's in taxation preferred
* Ability to manage multiple client engagements and projects
* Proficiency in or ability to adapt quickly to new tax software and research tools
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Willingness and desire to be part of a team
