Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to our patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for implementing the physician's prescribed plan of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care, including administering medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure the patient's needs are met.
- Document all care provided in a timely and compliant manner.
- Provide health education and training to family members and caregivers.
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders.
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition.
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
