Position Overview

We are seeking a committed Customer Service Specialist to provide exceptional support within our healthcare environment. As a vital part of our call center operations, you will serve as the initial contact for patients and their families, delivering assistance and guidance in a dynamic setting. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about service and possess strong communication abilities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist patients and their families with questions and offer general support.
  • Promptly relay patient requests to the relevant clinical personnel.
  • Enter patient data into the electronic health records system accurately.
  • Recognize and escalate complex matters to the Team Lead or Manager as necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of physician schedules, clinic updates, and office procedures.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance processes.
  • Experience with medical scheduling and billing systems is advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in electronic records systems and data entry.
  • Typing speed of 45 words per minute or higher.

This position is Full-Time with no remote work options available.
